From advocating for smoke-free schools to unraveling the complexities of Long COVID, Zoe is a versatile, gen z science/health communicator and non traditional pre-med. Her journey started as a young activist, which led to the passing of HB 2384 and SB 1295 in Virginia's legislation banning tobacco and e-cigarette products on all school property. As an aspiring bioethicist, her professional work blends rigorous scientific inquiry with a background in behavioral marketing and design.
Zoe earned her undergraduate degree in cognitive neuroscience from the University of Virginia in 2021. She created @GradSchoolTips while working in the Graduate School at Georgetown University. Zoe is a creative empath inspired by her artist dad and her mother’s love for animals—using her creativity to drive positive change.
Currently, she is a Bioethics graduate student at Harvard Medical School, focusing on clinical ethics and contributing to various research projects. She also works full-time in the health and research communications field and will apply MD/PhD.
